Hotel location was superb with view of the Bund. ideal for sightseeing- easy access to the tourist tunnel. Fantastic view from the 11th floor bar. Staff very helpful, but discrete. Have already recommended to collegues and hope to return in the spring....

Excelent location. Excelent breakfast. Room with a lot of space. Laundry is too expensive. Rooms are big and really nice. Televisions are old (CTR) they need to be changed for LCDs or Plasmas. Staff speak english, thats good. Walking distance to the subway station on lujiatzui, brands mall to have more choices for restaurants (even and starbucks and a haggen daaz), oriental perl tower and accuarium for leisure. Be aware in china people smoke everywhere. for a couple of days, second smoke is not going to kill you.

Wonderful location. Beatiful view from the room towards the main builidings in Shanghai that shine at night. High quality hotel. Near great mall to be reached in five minutes or ten by the great path next to the river.

The location of the hotel is fabulous. The morning breakfast was a little bit disappointing. But the room was grand. The free internet was really one of the best for business people.

Not as good as expected. Put in a lower-level room with little view. Asked to be moved and this happened quickly - but not a good start.
Would not stay at this hotel again but would choose to stay in CBD hotel. Over-rated.

This was a really bad hotel. If the intent is to cater to business travellers, the concierge should at least speak English. The concierge should have a map of the city in languages other than Chinese. And since they advertise their propinquity to the Bund, someone should at least be able to give directions! Finally, the restaurant should not permit waiters to drag two full large trashbags of garbage through the center of the dining room on their way (presumably) to the dump.
