The Jing An Hotel has two locations. The main building, and the new building. The main building is the one, that I have rated. The new building has a much lower standard and I wouldn't recommend it....

I have spent extra night, I have booked only from 9-12 May. I have tried to booked thru HotelTravel, but I got the answer Not Confirmed. I asked the reception; they could give me the extra night without problem; why HotelTravel ?
On 13 May a woman from Recerption waked me at midnight (11:57 pm) would collect money from me, wanted to come to my room and collect rmb 456,- After this telephone call till the mornig I could not sleep anymore. At the morning, checkout time, a receptionist was unfriendly, very impolite, rough demanding rmb 62,50 (aftrer deduction rmb 400,- deposit),
as when I owd him 10 million US$.
The bathroom was not clean, the wall was dirty, with black fungus.
This hotel not deserved as 4 stars hotel, max 2½ - 3 stars.
I still don't understand why they put me in another hotel: New Jing An Hotel.
Please tell the Hotel Managing Director about the woman who waked me at midnight only for €39,- ? After that till the morning I could not sleep any more. This woman has made my whole stay in Shanghai a bad memory.
The room was not good maintained. iot clean enough. But for the price is ok.
The refrigerator didn't work.
No Internet facility in Hotel, I have to g to other Jing As hotel (old one).
The midnight wake only to collect rmb 462,-
I have the feeling, no one spoke english at the reception; they understand english, but didn't answer in english. When I checked out, a man of the reception was so unfriendly and impolite. The wall of the bathroom never being clean ? Between the tiles, very dirty, with black fungus. During my stay in this hotel (5 days) 8-10 time I gave the hotel name card in chinese). Only one taxi driver brought me correctly to this hotel back. Mostly to the old one. Why ?
