My mobile phone disappeared, that's why I rated #6 safe/secure so low. I left it charging on the desk and it was taken while I was out. My own fault, but very annoying. Other than that, the hotel stay was great. Room very nice. Internet pricey though at $12 USD per day. Breakfast way over priced at $19. I went out instead. Not particularly well situated. Shopping and such several minutes away, but taxis are cheap.

THE HOTEL SPACE IS BIG BUT THE SERVICE IS POOR. CORDINATION AMONG THE FRONT OFFICE IS POOR.

I stay 200 days in hotels around the world because of my business travels, and the rooms in this hotel compared to the rest of the hotels I stayed before is only average by. The Beds are too hard and furniture are old. My stay could had been more enjoyable if the Internet in this hotel is much faster. At times it is slower than dial up. On the average the service is good. Not too far away from Domestic Airport and Shanghai City Centre. Although it is a bit far from Main City center at the Bund, overall it is very near satelite city of Hong Qiao. Food around this area is good. The only problem with security is the area around the hotel later than 10pm where you will find anumber of touts solicitaing for vice businesses. Overall rating is good.
