The location was great, it was easy walking distance to all we wanted to see and do for the Lantern and Ice Festival. The bed was a shocker, it would have been more comfortable sleeping on a concrete floor! Very little English spoken by staff but that was not a real problem, apart from the bed I would recomend this hotel.

We were given single-bed rooms instead of the twin double-bed rooms that we have booked. Feeling short-changed, we asked for a change of room and were given newer and nicer decorated twin double-bed rooms. We also felt we have over-paid for this 4-star hotel because we had the impression that we had booked the higher star side of the hotel,(as we thought that the hotel has either 3-star or 4-star). I really felt terrible because I had urged 2 other families to let me make the hotel reservations through you as my previous stay in Hong Kong at South Pacific Hotel was great, but it turned out a disaster! The room that my family stayed in was good with newer and nicer decor and furnishings but the other 3 rooms that my friends stayed in were 'older-looking' in design and not as brightly-lit as mine. I hope that future guests at Gloria Inn would not experience what I have gone through. It is conveniently located to shopping malls and streets. Eateries are also easily available.
