I had requested a double bed when booking with hoteltravel.com but was allocated 2 singles (twin) on arrival - these were the inferior rooms looking out the back of the hotel towards other buildings as opposed to the front road and lake. I explained that I had requested a double and the reception staff tried to charge me an extra US$25 a night for an upgrade!! An efficient French lady who happened to be on hand took over at this point and sorted it out, gave me the doulbe room for no extra charge but I am sure that this would not have happened if it had been left to the local staff to sort t...

We liked the hotel but we did find it a bit expensive as the hotel doesn't have the real Sofitel standards yet. But in all fairness the rooms are quite big and the hotel is located perfectly.
