Ni hao,...It was a nice hotel to stay in. I liked the fact that it was located near the river and not within the busy tourist streets. Like many people I encountered in China, the staff was very kind and helpful. The room is of a moderate but good size with one window giving a view of the mountains and river. Only thing to critique was the bathroom because it was very small and difficult to move in. I'm not aware of the food served in the restaurant because I didn't eat at the hotel but the interior of the building is large with many tables for dining, etc. Its a nice hotel and I would...

Ni hao,...It was a nice hotel to stay in. I liked the fact that it was located near the river and not within the busy tourist streets. Staying at the Imperial City Hotel was just another positive experience added to many that I had on my first, but not last, trip to China and especially Guilin.
