A very good hotel. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great. Hotel staff were very helpfull and spoke pretty good English. My only complaint is i believe the address is wrong. We got off the coach from the airport, which is very convenaintly about a 5 minute walk from the hotel (get the coach to Beijing Train Station), found the road that the hotel should be on, but could not find the hotel. I believe they have made a new entrance on the otherside of the building which on my map was Chongwemmen West Street. Once we found the hotel, we were very impressed with everything, and...

Very convenient location for the major sights. Within walking distance of the train station. Efficient, helpful staff. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Tea/coffee making facilities in room(no biscuits). Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at Novotel Xinqiao was a pleasure! I have never experienced such a professional and service minded staff at any other hotel. But this is also a reflection of the general behaviour of Chinese people. The rooms were great value for the money, the breakfast buffet was incredible, good facilities with hair salon, spa etc., really good location in the middle of a nice city neighbourhood and with the subway station just outside the lobby.

Excellent on all points. In mine opinion the reception looked understaffed. A few months ago a customer complained over de quite hard sleeping matrasses . Well I slept in Kashi, Urumqi, Xi'an, etc the mattrasses are quite the same everywher: quite hard. But after 1-2 nights one gets adapted

Good points: Front desk, Room service and Concierge service are excellent and prompt; Hotel location above train service is extremely convenient. Areas for improvement: poor lighting in bathroom and bedroom; central heating was not adjustable, room was facing cafe which got very warm as there was no cool air from window; broadband service was not user-friendly compared to other hotels.
