I was offered an upgrade at no extra cost. The room was recently renovated since my last visit and was to a very high standard.
The hotel is close to the new exhibition centre; about 5 minute walk. Excellent restaurants nearby which are very easy to order from for non Chinese speaking persons. Taxis are easy to obtain.
This is a prefered hotel for those visiting the Exhibition Halls....
