The two restaurants at this hotel were very good, stylish and trendy. The food was great! But the rest of the hotel was terrible! My room and bathroom were terribly constructed. There was a slight smell in the room when I arrived. I called for assistance and the Hotel sent someone from the cleaning staff to spray air freshener that only masked the odor and didn't last. The furniture and upholstery were raggedy with marks. I had to insert and reinsert my room key into the slot for the elevator and room door several times before the elevator moved or my door opened. This hotel a 2 star hotel with a 4 star price. I've stayed in motels with better rooms than this hotel. I will not being staying in this hotel again.

Liked most: Excellent 4* hotel for the business traveller; reasonably priced; large rooms; close to two metro stations; very good Chinese restaurant; very helpful and efficient staff.Liked least: lack of flexibility on checking in and out times; very expensive buffet breakfast

I was very happy with the friendly hotel staff. The standard of the room was better than what I expected. buffet breakfast very pleasant and filling start to the day. Great location, restaurant, photo services and shopping close walk from hotel. I was very happy with the hotel but thought price was to high per night. I would have saved 80 dollars a night per room if I booked direct with hotel and not felt the hotel was over priced.

Although I was upgraded, I did not receive the 10th floor breakfast. I went to the 2nd floor and most of the food was empty and was not promptly replenished. I was not asked for coffee or tea. I've stayed in many top quality hotels in the world and this was totally unsatisfactory.
I arrived late at night and leaving the next day, I only had the morning in Biejing. The hotel was unable to give me a map of the city so to orientate myself. This standard of hotel should provide free maps. The checkin was somewhat confusing with my transfers causing the greatest drama. It was a busy hotel. I would not stay there again, it felt more like a supermarket than a quality hotel.

We enjoyed this hotel very much. It was clean, new, and in a fantastic location between two metro lines and near the Forbidden City area. The included breakfast also was a welcomed surprise with a full buffet menu each morning! We would definitely choose this hotel again for our next visit to Beijing and it's charming culture and surroundings.
