The staff are extremely courteous, well trained and helpful. The rooms are excellent value, the food - in particular the buffet - is very acceptable, both from a price and quality standpoint. I have been staying at this hotel for some years - having experienced others in the same star rating category, always book this hotel when travelling to Beijing, and have never been dissapointed. It is to be very highly recommended....

1. I can hear people talking next door. Insulation is not very good.
2. Had problem getting a taxi, especially during the evening hours.
3. Swimming pool is very good.
4. Chinese restaurant is very good.

Wangfujing, main shopping street, is 5 minutes' walking distance. Metro is directly connected with the hotel basement leading to basement arcade street. (It means you don't need to walk outside in cold weather.^^) Location is excellent. Red Moon on the 1st floor, sushi bar, was fascinating. I really enjoyed staying at Grand Hyatt Beijing.Don't forget to receive 20% D/C coupon of Fanhua Pearl shop from the concierge. I bought lake pearls in a great bargain. ~~
