The room was quiet and clean, with western-style bathrooms. Four restaurants and a bar serve a variety of cuisine. The pool was quite small, with only 5 chairs on which to sit, and a fee was required to use the whirlpool. However, the fitness center provided other services, such as many different types of massages and hair care. In other Chinese cities we exchanged money at the Bank of China, however, this bank was located a few miles from the hotel, but money exchange was provided by the hotel in an extremely timely manner and at the same rate. A great hotel with a very charming location. We stayed there for 8 nights and enjoyed every one of them. Excellent fitness center and swimming pool, but changing facilities at the pool were in poor condition. Take a walk in the park in the morning an get a fantastic experience.

The hotel staffs are not friendly. The housekeeping was very annoying. I will never recommend travellers to stay in this hotel.

My husband and I had 3 nights stay at the hotel. Nice quiet area, no heavy traffic, which was great. We were out most of the time, so the room was alright, although the room heater wasn't working, i think. The pool is small and bring your caps or you'll have to buy one at entrance. We chose this hotel as it is situated where there are a lot of Muslim restaurants around. Taxis were easily available too. Anyway, a few things that can be improved. We don't speak Mandarin. Everytime i asked for tips or directions on sightseeing, the staff directed me to the Bellboys, huh? Fine, but they had other duties to do. Thus, we had to depend on our guide book and maps. To make things worst, we lost our money that was kept in the safe! yes, the 2nd night we got back from sightseeing, we discovered that our room was tidied up although we had put the Do Not Disturb Sign. That's fine until we couldn't open up the safe and we certainly did remember our code! We were too tired to call the manager and decided to put it off till the next day. We only had the management to help us open the safe when we were back at night the following day. It was then i discovered our money missing. Luckily our passports were intact! I had the matter reported to the Manager straight away. An apology was all that we got. So, if you decided to stay at this hotel, DO NOT USE THE SAFE! Do not lay any cash or valuables lying around unsecured in the room when leaving it. I doubt the security camera at the end of the co

An extra special treat was free access to the adjacent park, which was the most beautiful park we had visited in Beijing, complete with beautiful museums.

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable but very basic with no character. Staff was friendly, but they seemed most suited to dealing with large tour groups who had set itinerary instead of individuals travelling on their own. My major disappointment was that the hotel was very far from everything with no public transport nearby and the area around the hotel was not interesting at all. Thankfully, taxis are plentiful and very cheap. Definitely good value for money though. For the money it really was superb, clean and comfortable. I was very comfortable there and would recommend the hotel to anyone on a tight budget.

Excellent service when we wanted help with booking a flight and hotel in Chengdu! At least our daughter was a bit disappointed about the swimmingpool wich did not live up to the pictures of it that we'd seen on the internet. The garden close to the hotel is a nice area for a walk.

Double room contained two separate beds and the staff was not extremely friendly, difficult to speak English. Besides, the hotel was near a nice park, but quite far away from the zone of major sightseeing and the area around did not have plenty of restaurants or shops to move around. Restaurants in the hotel closed quite early and the only option, hence, was bar with quite a modest menu. A good place for budget-travelling.

The hotel is located a bit off-center, but reliable and cheap taxi service eliminates the issue. You don't walk much in Beijing anyway.

Thius hotel was convenient to the airport in Beijing, which was great. The rooms were spacious, clean and nicely furnished. The facilities were also excellent. I would definately recommend this hotel to someone who is staying in Beijing and needs to be close to the airport, but it's really far from the center of the city if you want to sightsee.
