"I would recommend the Friendship Hotel. It was value for money. The rooms were smartly decorated and clean. The hotel staff were always pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was traditional Chinese, and I enjoyed sampling the different food. There were several restaurants within the hotel complex which catered for different tastes, although they were not cheap. There was no fitness suite that I was aware of and the pool was not in use when I was in Beijing, and it looked quite small. "
