We found the beds to be VERY hard, internet rarely worked, shower was difficult and very low for American male. Also there was very little privacy, you could see into the bathroom, difficult to read in bed due to poor lighting. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The food at the restaurant and cleanliness at breakfast left much to be desired. Felt the price of breakfast was very high. Location was great. Not sure if we would stay there again for the price.
It seemed many of the facilities were under contruction, I NEVER found the gift shop open. Tried to purchase items the day we left but shop people didn't show up before we left at 9 am. Front desk could not depend on the gift shop hours of operation. Tour desk prices seemed very high but sometimes when there is a language barrier terms could get misconstrued.
We found everyone to be very helpful, very pleasant. I don't know what excellent service would be so this is the highest rating I would give any hotel.
Although we ate at the hotel we had some problems. The kitchen does not yet understand American food. They advertised a baked potato but it was really corn and carrots fried like a pancake. We usually ordered Chinese food that was average in comparison to other restaurants we visited but edible. We did not go hungry but the food was not exceptional, however this is usually true in hotel restaurants unless it is a 5 or 6 star hotel.
We could hear the phone ringing in the room next to us and other guests yelling in the halls in the middle of the night.
Door man was ALWAYs very helpful in getting us a cab.
