On the whole, I am quite satishied with my short stay.

They need to add extra usable plugs for electronics. And, staff has to be more friendly. Internet charge is not acceptable.

the hotel is nice, but at taxy distance from all the principal historical places and very far from olympic game area; the staff they do not speak a sufficient english, the breakfast is very good, the chinese restorant is terrible.

On arrival we were not offered help with our bags despite having two young children with us. The lobby was small with few seats except for the coffee shop. This was not a promising start but things did get better. Staff realised that with small children we would not want a smoking room and since no non-smoking rooms were available at the standard of room we had booked we were upgraded at no extra cost. The room we were given was a reasonable size with a suprisingly large bathroom. A cot for the baby was quickly brought to the room. The hotel building and upkeep were a bit disappointing but for us this ws made up for by the excellent location and helpfulness of the staff. The shopping mall next door (entrance from 2nd and 5th floors) had a food court on the fifth floor and a supermarket in the basement. This meant we had easy access to everything we needed. The breakfasts were only average but the HuaMei restaurant was good. We will use this hotel again mainly for the convenience and helpfulness of the staff. On the last day our baby had a fever, a hospital was suggested and our leaving time delayed a few hours to make visiting the hospital possible.
