The Bamboo Garden hotel in Beijing is a classical Chinese style structure which lies in the center of the ancient city on a quiet lane west of Drum Tower. The property was formerly the residence of Sheng Xuanhuai, the Minister of Post in the late Qing Dynasty. The hotel is also known as the garden of Li Lianying, a famous feudal eunuch in Qing dynasty.
