Been to Siem Reap for the last four years now, stayed at Le Meridien twice and The Sokha. Didn't like the Sokha, Le Meridien is lovely but you can't beat the Tara for value for money. The rooms are a very high standard and there is an excellent swimming pool area. Great location near to the temples and only a very short tuk-tuk drive to town to all the excellent restaurants and shops.
Would recommend you use the tuk-tuks which support poorer local families rather than a taxi when visiting anywhere including the temples, much more enjoyable way to travel.Will be back next year and will defina...

Superior room standard was plain in décor but comfortable. Bathroom was well-maintained. Staff was excellent from point of check-in to check-out. Furnishings of hotel was beautiful and pool was clean. Will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

We really liked our stay at the Tara Angkor Hotel. Although it might not have been right in the centre of Siem Reap, we (my wife and I) found the location very easy. Only a 1 or 2 dollar tuk-tuk ride away from the centre and almost next to a supermarket, BBQ-restaurant and some souvenir shops. We really spend a good time checking out hotels and their reviews. We wanted a bit of a nice place to stay, however for our budget most of the better hotels were fairly pricy. Finally, we stumbled upon the Tara Angkor Hotel and after reading the reviews we made our booking at really low prices compared to our other choices. It turned out to be well worth it. Since it was so cheap, we were also able to take a deluxe room which was really spacious. Both hotel and room were clean and tidy and the staff was most polite and friendly. The beds were ok and so was breakfast. All in all a great experience.

Hi This hotel was fantastic and i would recommed it to anyone wishing to visit Ankor Wat.The staff were very helpfull ,food was excellent and the pool area wasgreat to relax after visiting Ankor .The room has a small balcony but was fairly big with two decent size beds,nice wood floors and nice decor.My only complaint was the internet was chargeable ,being a 4 star hotel i think this should have been free.That aside we had a great time awsome hotel would visit again for sure.
