Hotel is set in wonderful mature gardens and obviously in its day was a seriously nice Hotel. Unfortunately time and lack of investment shows and it looks quite sad. Its a pity because with some investment it could still be more interesting than many of the "box" Hotels in the area. Rosemary Harris, Australia
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bopha Angkor. It was excellent value for money, and seemed a very suitable place to stay in Siem Reap. The location on the river was great, and best of all was the beautiful garden setting. It was very relaxing to be able to sit outside our room in the evening after temple exploring listening to the gentle waterfall over great statuary reminding us of what we had seen at Angkor... Thoroughly recommended, especially to those that feel uncomfortable staying in a luxury hotel in a very poor location such as Cambodia. A HotelTravel.com Member, Luxembourg
Awful breakfast, impossible during 4 following days. Jacqueline Moden, Australia
We were extremely happy with the excellent service provided by this hotel. Such that we asked for a recommendatin in Phnom Penh and stayed in the Billabong hotel through their recommendation.
Bopha was fabulous and I would recommend the location and hotel service Robert Carrelli, United States
The Bopha Hotel in Siem Reap was one of the best small hotels I have stayed at. Far exceeding my expectations were the food, the service, and the ambience. Every employee was friendly, every corner of the hotel grounds was lush and topical, every day of my four-day stay was a pleasant one. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends. This hotel was fantastic - i'd rate it much higher than the 3 stars it has been given. It's located very close to town, the staff are lovely and the restaurant excellent. It's without a doubt one of the best hotels i've stayed in in Asia, without the 'impersonal' feel of a big hotel chain. Catherine Schilling, United States
Bopha Angkor hotel was completely charming! Room was reasonable size with two double beds. Local artisan decor and furnishings. Bathroom was a bit small for two people but sufficient. Hotel restaurant was terrific, with choices of Thai or European dishes. Breakfast is a choice of two or three dishes, which is nice after all the buffet breakfasts. Lovely pool and grounds, excellent location. Staff very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here while in Siem Reap! TARA VENKATESH, United States
Excellent local interior decor in room; spotlessly clean room, comfortable beds, good hot/cold plumbing and shower; mosquito net canopies provided for beds although we found no bugs at all; excellent hot breakfast; loved the garden tropical foliage. A tropical oasis, both lush and funky, with great staff. A wonderful little pool for quiet swims beneath palm trees and ferns. Michael Cronin , New Zealand
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Well serviced rooms. Excellent staff. We only had breakfasts at this hotel and the food and service were excellent. Very good value indeed. |
