In general the location was superb being within 5-10 minutes walk of the tourist visit areas and the cleanliness was excellent. A disappointment was that there was no tour desk . The complimentary apple a day gift was a good idea. Iwould definitely stay there again....

The room decor was quite dated and the grouting between the tiles in the bathroom was quite mouldy.I was disappointed to not have a hairdryer in the room - it meant not using the pool unless I wanted to go out with wet hair. Staff were friendly and willing to help.

The hotel was comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the lion dance that they had the next day of our stay. We had breakfast at the top floor on our first day there, and although the selection was limited, the view was excellent. The breakfast located on the first floor was much better, excellent in fact. The palace is within walking distance, but taking the tuk tuk only cost about $2-$3 for a family of 5, so why walk? I would recommend this place to anyone who comes here. Thanks.

The deluxe room they gave us on the third floor was above a nightclub/bar on the ground floor. This place belted out thumping tuneless music till 1am 6 nights a week.On complaining about the noisse level we were upgraded and moved to another wing of the hotel where the sound of the club could not be heard. Noone should have to put up with that racket after paying good money for a room.

The best thing about Cambodiana Hotel is location. Its only few minutes walk from hotel to Royal Palace and National Museum. Many good restaurants are also close to the hotel. Only thing I didn´t like was that there was no hairdryer in the room.

The rooms are large, if a bit dated in decoration, and with no balcony. The facilities are excellent, especially the swimming pool, and the ,ocation is great for exploring the riverside area.

Just staying 01 nite is not enough time to discribe and evaluate the hotel grade but the most problem of this hotel is needed to make renovation. Room facilities are usually old. Other conditions are enough as Five star hotel grade.

Some confusion when one of my party checked in because of internet booking but it was quickly resolved. Room service a little tardy when an adapter for my laptop was requested. However, otherwise the people in my party thought the Cambodiana, espeically the food and cocktails in the lounge were excellent.

Basically the hotel was old and all rooms and furnishings were very tired-looking. Didn't get the non-smoking room we requested. Moved out to Intercontinental after one night. This hotel was so much better.

This hotel is in the middle of major renovations and should be avoided for the next six months as it is like living on a building site.

I spend two nights at the Cambodiana Hotel on Nov 06 to 08,2006.This hotel is going through major remodeling works with all the inconvenient. The noise start at 0.730 am till 6.30 pm every day. Dozen of technicians and workers are busy in various areas of the hotel, including the swimming pool, reception and restaurants. The blast generated by the power tools is very tiresome and annoying. AT the pace that this upgrade is going this chaos will last at least 6 months. I strongly suggest to select another hotel.

Nice location on the river, but hotel needs to be fixed up a little, for example leaking in the bathroom. Very helpfull front desk personnel. Excellent breakfast buffet.

The room was situated at the back of the hotel in the direct neigbourhood of the "machine chamber"of the hotel. The fans of the aircon caused an enormous noice which made it sometimes difficult to sleep. We speak about the right wing of the building. The staff was very helpful in finding a solution to fly to Siem Reap because the river level was to low to go by boat. They organised the flight in only half an hour.

We only stayed here one night but I was slightly disappointed, having assumed that it would be a bit nicer. Most of the staff were very pleasant but when we changed up some Dollars we got short-changed and I wasn't convinced that it was an accident. Luckily I spotted the discrepancy and I must stress that this was an isolated incident!
