Initially we were put in what we felt was a small room for our money. We paid an extra amount to get into a bigger and better room but the aircon packed up after 24 hrs. we moved again,3 rooms in 2 days! This last room proved to be the best.It had a better view and the location on the 7th floor was good except that the breakfast room was above us and at 6.30 every morning the creaking and screeching of chairs toid us that breakfast was about to be served. In all rooms there weren't enough powerpoints, no tissues, no milk for the tea and coffee and no mugs or cups to make it in. The decor was very good. The laundry service was excellent. Room service was efficient. The front foyer and external lift were the best features.

The best location in town and food is ordinary. Especially they don't have the fitness center shown in the website.

The view from the room to outside was awful, we were just looking at some walls. The room furnitures and equipment is all very old. You had to wait loooong time for the elevator, so we ended up to use the stairs most of the time. The internet was extremely slow (I had to change to an internet cafe), it was not possible to make an international call because their connect is way tooooo slow. The staff was friendly when asked, but a bit lazy; they were just waiting for customers to come and did not offer to help by themselves. Many restaurants and shops around the hotel. The Big A (supermarket) is close. The breakfast was very poor. Low quaility of food and also no big selection. The equipment in the restaurant was also all old and worn. When we arrived, the sheets on the bed had some dirt on them and one had a small hole also. On the next day they changed everything and then it was clean and no holes. The towels are very worn. And the window in the bathroom does not protect against mosquitos since around the window there are slits that can't be closed. There are almost always tuk tuk and motorbike drivers in front of the hotel ready to offer their service. The hotel is on the Monivong Blvd. (the biggest road through Phnom Penh), so there is really no problem with transportations.

The hotel was under renovation during our stay. The rooms were lousy and noisy in the early morning hours during to hacking and knocking for the renovations. Most staff were friendly and excellent in service while the house keeping staff was bossy & lazy!!!

One of our rooms did not have a window, in the other room the aircondition was placed so that you didn´t get any air unless you stood in front of the aircondition. The bathroom was good but the room was not very cosy
