Extremely spacious and well-appointed in a lovely style. The staff were friendly, polite, efficient, and quick to assist with everything. The best part -- it's right on the riverside, with views of Ounlong Wat and the Royal Palace from the balcony.
Just step out the door and you'll find a taxi driver or tuk-tuk eager to take you wherever you want to go, which is bound to be fairly close anyway.
Only had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, but it was excellent, as was the service. Elegant and stylish decor at pool area with a Khmer flavor.
Given the traffic levels in the square facing, the room was surprisingly quiet -- except for the bed, which creaked rather loudly whenever one of us rolled over.

Excellent hotel, hotel resaurant also excellent has to be the best breakfast we have had in Asia. A HotelTravel.com Member, United Kingdom
excellent view of river and the royal palace, our room was on the corner top floor which must have been one of the best roooms in the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, it was close to lots of attractions with many restaurants nearby. Excellent value for money. Abd Aziz Bin Youp Kamaruddin, Malaysia
Convenient location for either businessman or tourist. Nice ambiance because it is by the river, with lively traffic (both vehicles and human). A bit expensive for an individual on a personal budget, but the price is fair-value if you are stay as a couple or a family. A HotelTravel.com Member, Australia
The rooms were fabulous. There are many hotels who have the nerve to claim they are 'boutique', but this one lived up to it's claim. Our rooms were clean, enormous, tastefully furnished, had lovely spacious bathrooms, and had magnificent views facing towards the Royal Palace. The hotel looked better in real life than it does on Hotel Travel's website.
The hotel's own restaurant served an excellent breakfast, offering a mixture of cooked, asian and continental breakfast. In particular, the croissants/pastries were lovely and very fresh - as good as you'll find in Paris. The bar was also a pleasant and cosmo place for a drink.
Perfect location near the main drag where all the restaurants and bars are. Spitting distance from the Foreign Correspondent's Club which served the BEST chocolate cake I have ever had in my life!
For getting around Phnom Penh by tuc-tuc, local journeys should never cost you more than USD2. Anymore than USD2, and you're probably being taken for a ride.
By Cambodian standards this hotel is expensive, but at roughly GPB60 per room per night I think we got good value for our money. I would definitely recommend the Amanjaya and would stay there again. A HotelTravel.com Member, United States
Great location with friendly staff. Hotel room above average, other amenities...pool, business center, workout center not available.

Most of our stay was wonderful, small intimate hotel, spacious room, convenient location, balcony facing the river, complimentary in-room breakfast.
The only complaint I have is that after we checked-in, we noticed our bed wasn't made completely, it was missing a blanket. A HotelTravel.com Member, Germany
