The hotel is small but the room was large and comfortable. The bed was firm and comfortable, the bathroom a good size, clean but a bit basic. There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but the breakfast was plentiful. The hotel is situated next to a school so there was some noise from the playground, and some noise from a rather old lift. The hotel is situated on a lovely canal and is about 10 minutes walk to the town centre and Christmas market. There is limited parking outside the hotel, or paid parking behind the hotel. The web page when booking stated there was a fitness center. No charge was mentioned. When we arrived, a 15 Euro per day charge was required. Also the website stated coffee available in rooms, not true. rooms were small and oddly shaped. Bathrooms were very good though. Good point is a very pleasant and accommodating staf.
