The Barbados Wildlife Park is filled with exotic local animals that are kept in a free-range enclosure, allowing you to see them in their natural habitat. Accra Beach is the island’s best with beautiful clean waters and soft white sands.

Accra Beach
Accra Beach is widely accepted as Barbados’s best beach with pristine sands and a picturesque palm tree backdrop. The beach is perfect for swimming with gentle sand banks and calm surf. A plethora of eateries are situated along the beach walkway and beach vendors also walk along here selling snacks. There are great snorkelling opportunities with equipment available for hire.

Bajan Roots and Rhythms Show
This fantastic dinner and show is one of the best on the island. The atmosphere is electric with singing, dancing and spectacular performances, including fire breathing and stilt walking. The West Indian hospitality here is second to none and the food is delicious.

Barbados Wildlife Reserve
The Barbados Wildlife Reserve is situated in a mahogany forest that has a plethora of animals in their natural environment. Animals range from pelicans to rock iguanas, but caution needs to be exercised when viewing these creatures, who are easily scared. There is restaurant onsite and park souvenir shop selling mementos.

Holetown
Contrary to the name, Holetown is actually a beautiful town with numerous attractions to enjoy. The town was the first settlement on the island in 1625. The St James Church here is a popular place to visit with a beautifully constructed chapel from the 1600s.

Sea Turtles
Along Malibu Beach there are boats available to take you to see the large gatherings of sea turtles offshore. The boat operators feed the turtles, which is amazing to watch. Nowhere else in the world can you see such large numbers of sea turtles together at one time.
