The marvelous historic landmark, Regina Hotel Vienna celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1996. This charming, family-run establishment is located in the University Quarter, next to the Votiv Church, only a short ride by public transport to all of the sights of Vienna's downtown core. Staying true to its 1877 construction, the sweeping rooms retain the traditional Viennese high ceilings, wood panneling, and antique furniture.

in my opinion this hotel should not be a four star the room was very small, and the bathroom was not of very high standards, but for the price i paid and the fact that it was in a lovely location made up for it quality. ...

The first room I was offered was small, noisy, dark and hot. Definitely not 4 stars hotel. But after complaining, I got a fairly good room. Personnel friendly.

The bathing room facilities were at best poor. A 4 star hotel can offer better room and bathrooms. The hotel is visited by traveling groups, arriving several buses in the afternoon. This should also explain the poor breakfast option. But clean it was and the people were friendly.

No Air con: as the weather was very hot it was very difficult. The rooms are very old and if you are in front there are many noises if you want to keep your window open. The hotel should be completly renovated very quickly. I will tell to the next customer to ask for a room not on the front.

Room 112 was not pleasant, room 133 and 136 was fine. The mattress in the bed was not good.
