Air conditioning was definitely a plus; colleagues staying at various other hotels did not have AC. Service of concierge met needs only when asked. Very clean; accessable to shopping, sight-seeing, very clean safe area. Next to Lichtenstein museum also a plus. Hotel has rooftop terrace; great place to have a beverage and see Vienna rooftops. Very small bar open 24 hours, but no room service. Great value; would stay there again. ...

While the hotel itself has good facilities and is well-designed, the treatment that we received was truly shocking. On the day of our arrival, we were told that thehotel had made a most unfortunate mistake- a booking error, in spite of the fact that our booking was made several months in advance- and that there was no room for us, so that they would accomodate us for the first night in a nearby hotel. It turned out that the hotel they proposed was not air-conditioned. It was only by making a huge fuss that they found an air conditioned room for the first night.
The hotel shows little consideration for its guests in this way; it is puzzling because they gave the same story of an error with the first night booking to a colleague of mine that was attending the same conference.
