We should describe our staying as amazing. Messe Wien is a magnificent hotel, with regular size rooms, luxury bathroom, simple furnitures and no noise at all. Our view to Prater was great each morning and evening, while the only "con" came with cleanliness which could be a bit better. As well we had internet access for the laptop thanx to a lan cable we borrowed from the reception desk, at no charge. Btw, take care 'cause the wifi charge is expensive imo, 24 euros per day isn't something that goes unnoticed...

The facilities are simple: a big breakfast room, a small bar for drinks, coffee's and something to eat and a few comfortable chairs. If u like eating at ur hotel, don't bother: Messe Wien doesn't have a restaurant, but i don't care at all! As for the breakfast, it was delicious and had a great variety of goods.
The staff were extremely polite, helpful and imagine we were there during Easter when the hotel was almost or fully booked! The location is very very very quiet, the tram station is some metres away, the metro station will be finished in a few weeks (thanx to Euro2008), Prater central station five minutes away on foot and the place seemed really secure.
If it's worth? U bet... The price from hoteltravel.com was great for the value of the hotel and a) i would definitely stay there again and b) i will definitely book from this website next time.

The quality price ration is outstanding. No restaurant - bad. Did not know there was a swimming pool, all in all, for a busy business traveller without pretention it's functional.

Vienna City Festival: runs for three days that are packed with events from comedy to live music and theatre.
