Clean, spacious enough, great view. wishes were attended to. only used wlan in the lobby, worked fine and was freely available. good value for money, great location, every need is fullfilled - however not a "fancy" or "special" hotel

The staff efficency and friendliness vary quite a bit. The staff at the restaurant was excellent & exceptionally helpful - I had a bad throat & they did their best to help with supply of honey (this was on 1 April Sunday where the pharmacist shop was closed). The check-in staff was also highly efficient & professional.
But I can't say the same for housekeeping. A simple request for towels, and shoe cleaning cloth took more than half hour to be delivered (on 5 April & 6 April). The staff at the Concierge wasn't too helpful also in giving tourist direction.

Hotel rooms are spacious, functional and clean but lifeless. The corridors were the worst - reminiscent of hospital corridors - white, plain and clinical.
The first night I arrived there was a function on in the bar so there was not one single seat in the whole lobby (and there is nowhere else in the hotel to have a drink after a long trip!). The breakfast spread and choice is one of the best ones I've seen and the breakfast staff was cheerful, pleasant and helpful (unlike reception and concierge). The central lobby is like an airport hall; too big without being welcoming and cosy.
Location of the hotel is good. Hotel right opposite of Stadtpark, easy access to underground and trains, walking distance to city centre (Opera, shopping etc)
