Great location, fantastic staff who will always help. Breakfast is very, very good and the Pitter Keller downstairs is probably the best bar around. Salzburg is quiet at night and so this bar was good. Pint of beer only 2 euro 40 cents, a bargain! Food is also good and cheap in there. We stayed in January 07 and April 07 and will definitely recommend it. Bus stops right outside from airport and it is close walking distance to centre of town. Across road from Mirabell Gardens. Pool is very small which is the only downside if you want a swim. Overall, superb hotel and location....

Very old furnishing in lobby as well as in rooms. Carpet smells slightly and has stains on it, even in non smoking rooms. Furnishing and equipment of room rather poor (old tv, remote is hardly working; toothbrush, comb etc. have to be ordered at the reception if needed and very long delivery time etc.) and very old, i.e. used. Breakfast buffet has a good choice and on weekends available until 11.30. Staff in general is friendly and helpful.
I would not go back to this hotel considering price, i.e. the value one gets for that price.
