Very central in the old city. About 14 min by foot from central railway station Leonhard Keck, United States
This hotel indicates it started operation in 1547, and the area around it is the most historic and interesting part of Innsbruck, however that creates two problems- it is impossible to drive near to the hotel to unload luggage, (due to pedestrian walk ways and one way streets). Parking is 4 blocks away, so you must transport your own luggage from an underground parking garage, over cobble stone streets and brick walkways, through masses of tourists and university students. Those same tourists and students love to party outside the hotel until early morning, so human street noise is quite high. The building is well kept and charming inside, however some rooms are very small and cramped. Some bathroom arrangements are unconventional and take some adapting. If you want to immerse yourself in the Altstadt (Old City) of Innsbruck and be in the middle of the tourist area, but don't mind some minor inconveniences, this is the place to experience old world charm. If you demand the convenience - don't stay here. A HotelTravel.com Member, Thailand
