This hotel was absolutly AWFUL!!!! I intend on making a official complaint about this hotel to many authorities. i paid for a superior room and then i ended up getting a family room and i was not told this upon arrival. I only found out that the room i was given was not what i booked when i complained about the disgusting state of the room to the duty manager. There were some of my concerns:- The room smelt awful... the four seats provided in the room were heavily soiled - and they looked like children had gone to the toilet on them - this is not a joke and i asked the duty manager if she would sit on a seat like that at a restaurant and she replied "probably not". The facilities - e.g. tea/coffee facilities were not filled up - we were missing items.e.g.salt. Also the self contained cooking facilities that were provided - only allowed you to use 2 out of 4 hotplates and there was a laminated sign with nice adhesive backing to say management sincerely apologises and we later found out that when they were new only two of the hot plates were wired up. so that sign has been there since the start. i went to have a shower and i had the shower head in the correct facing position and it sprayed out into the middle of the room. There were also no tissues in the room - no one had replaced the tissues with a new box - simple housekeeping was not done. Numerous cobwebs and spiders and ants were found inthe room.
