Holiday Inn Old Sydney is a unique blend of international elegance and old-world charm nestled in the heart of the Rocks, a harbourside village of quaint cottages and bond stores nestled against Sydney's famous Harbour Bridge and just a short stroll from the world-acclaimed Sydney Opera House. During the day, the deep blue waters set off the sparkling white sails of the Sydney Opera House, and as the sun falls, the night lights of the Harbour Bridge signal the arrival of Sydney's dazzling nightlife. If you are looking for a boutique hotel that exudes all the charms of yesteryear, then this hotel is the ideal choice for you.

Rated #22 for all Sydney hotels
Location is this hotel's best feature. Right in The Rocks with a very short walk to the waterfront and Circular Quay. The walk to the Opera House is less than 10 minutes. Many choices of restaurants in the area. Spectacular view from the hotel's rooftop pool...unobstructed view of Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Circular Quay. Room rates are very reasonable for this area. Helpful staff is icing on the cake!!...

Superb location. Excellent front desk staff. Spectacular lobby. Room large, but spartan and tired. Bed huge, firm, and new - brilliant. Bathroom very old, not terribly clean, and not appropriate for the price being charged. You are paying for the location and the convenience, but at the end of the day, this is a Holiday Inn, not a 5-star luxury hotel. An excellent location for a rendezvous with Cruise Ship visitors.

Good value for money, but very noisy if on the main road side when setting up the market in the early hours of Friday morning. Near to Ferries and Bus Interchange. The rate paid via Hotel Travel made it good value even with the noise problem.

Great location if you are staying in Sydney at a reasonable price. Close to ferries and train and minutes away from the bridge and opera house. If we return to Sydney this is where we would stay!
