The Menzies Hotel was our choice based on a friend's recommendation, and it delivered everything he said it would. The location is perfect for Sydney, everything is literally around the corner, the room was big and clean, the staff (particularly Head Concierge Andrew) were fantastic, I would definitely stay there again!...

The Menzies Hotel was our choice based on a friend's recommendation, and it delivered everything he said it would. Stayed in a park view room. Nice room, condition of room not perfect but ok. Hotel location very good. Breakfast very good but overpriced. Friendly personnel. No queues when checking in- or out. Central location, underground station opposite the hotel. underground station opposite the hotel, bus stops outside the hotel, taxis available outside the hotel. Breakfast very good but overpriced.

I stayed here twice in a matter of weeks .The first room was very small,the second was a decent size.(Both standard rooms ).The reception is quite grand but the rooms let it down,the hotel is in need of a refurb.Word of warning if you use the carpark ,when exiting take a map you come out along way from the hotel on some backstreet.
