Great location.l A room with a view of Darling Harbour is a must. Breakfast is excellent value for money. I had a single room which was fine without being fabulous. I was hardly in the room anyway....

The carpet looks old and dirty. The walls on the room needs some maintenance. Overall the hotel needs some maintenance. The location is very good, close to the Darling Harbor

A nice location - I had been to Sydney before and knew I wanted to stay in this area. the room was very small for 2 people and luggage. Only complaint it that they did not give fresh towels everyday... unusual.. the bath mat was new daily!! Hotel staff friendly - 2 people on the desk would have helped at times to speed things up especially at certain times of the day. Not spending any time in a room as Sydney has lots to see and do.. just fine for the price from HotelTravel!

Although the room is small for 2 people, as we do not have space for big cases, the bed is big and confortable, the bathroom has a good space and the room is confortable and very clean. Of course I wold stay there again as iti is near everything in Sydney.

We had stayed at the same Hotel two years ago. We are a little bit "shocked". The service is not the same: At first we became an uncleaned room, then we became a chance to change. But noone had looked for our luggage as promist. The keycard did nt work. The service at the reception desk, namently Mai, is very poor. For our next stay we will look for an other Hotel!

First class location, this was my second time staying at this hotel and the location was the main reason for returning. One thing I was disappointed in was the car parking charge of 25 dollars per night which I think was a bit steep and cannot recall that there was a charge on my last visit. I think the hotel know that the guests will pay up to save the hassle of trying to find other parking and its easy money for them. I found that they were a bit short staffed when checking in and a queue formed awating attention, also there were no porters on duty to handle luggage to and from the rooms , I did not mind this personnally but it may have been a concern for older guests who are unable to manage themselves.

The Monorail is outside the back entrance to the hotel which is ideal for travel around Sydney.

Excellent location, good rooms and facilities, but such cold service! Absolutely unhelpful staff, doing their job without enthusiasm or sparkle. When passing reception in the morning on the way to the breakfast area, not even a friendly "good morning".
When we arrived (my mum is 80, myself I am 51) the lobby area was deserted. We struggled with our heavy suitcases in full view of the male receptionnist, who did not make any attempt to help us in any way.
I don't think I'll be staying in an Ibis Hotel again.
