A good hotel overlooking St Kilda beach,close to superb cafe area(can you have too much chocolate cake?) and direct tram service into central Melbourne. We were unlucky to coincide with some building works whicn went on into the weekend....

Hotelroom was not clean. Had to catch cockroach in room and we were allergic to all the dust in both rooms we booked. The 2 rooms we booked were very dusty. Daily make up of room ok, but in general rooms was very dusty..

The hotel was good but the breakfast was mediocre and overpriced. Despite this I would stay there again, as the position and the rooms are very good.
