Hobart is the second oldest city in Australia after Sydney and is the capital city of Tasmania as well. Hobart offers visitors absolutely beautiful landscapes, welcoming people, fine climate, superb wine and food, busting markets and rich history. In additional, Hobart has one of the deepest harbours in Australia and is one of the most important points for Australian and International ships. Port Arthur historic site is one of the most the fascinating tourist attractions. Overlooking a beautiful bay, the port area is filled with impressive architecture, beautiful gardens. The area is in close proximity to a wildlife park and has views of dramatic rock formations that are situated along the coast. Hobart has a deserved reputation for producing the finest fruit and vegetables in the region, which is apparent in the quality restaurants that are sprinkled throughout the city.

The state capital of the Australian island of Tasmania, Hobart is among the oldest cities in the country. With a location at the estuary of the Derwent River, it’s also one of the most scenic urban developments in Tasmania, and a combination of aesthetically pleasing sights with modern conveniences have helped make it the island’s most popular tourist destination.

Situated in the suburb of Cambridge around 12 miles from downtown Hobart, Hobart International Airport is the primary gateway to the city. The airport’s name is something of a misnomer since scheduled international flights have not operated here since the 1990s, but it still retains its international terminal and customs facilities for passengers arriving on chartered international flights from Singapore operated by Singapore Airlines.
