I stayed in the hotel for two days .After 2wks sightseeing in Sydney I went back to stay in ISLANDER RESORT HOTEL for another 2 days before I flew home.I was able to extend for 2hours after check out time and that was great.

Hotel enterance not accessable for coaches to pick up guests and as such guests are directed to wait out by the roadside in adverse weather condition. Due to unprofessional handling of tour coaches my wife and I missed Koala and Kangroo show .

good location!!! we had so much fun during our stay in this hotel. the aircon was not functioning well & noisy coz it's gonna old. good thing it's a little bit cold outside so we just opened the sliding door of the veranda.

Noisy hotel (both in the hotel (lot of partying teenagers) and noise from the outside), problems to change to a different room, staff was not very friendly. I was planning to stay there for 3 nights, but changed hotels after just 1 night, that's how bad it was. I recommend australis sovereign hotel if you stay in surfers.

The location is ideal. However, the room was a little run down - the air cooling unit made some noise.
