Franz Weber Bonrook Resort
Franz Weber Bonrook Resort is a hotel with a difference. Back in the eighties, Bonrook had been nothing but an abandoned cattle station for years - until 1989, when the Swiss based Franz Weber Foundation, an international non profit humane organisation for the protection of nature and wildlife, purchased the property and turned it into a sanctuary for the persecuted Australian brumby and a natural reserve for native wildlife. Here guests can relax in style and comfort in one of three attractive guesthouses set in beautiful landscaped gardens and contemplate life or go out sightseeing nearby.
