This hotel is very old and dusty. Rooms smelled musty and old. Walls are concrete and there are also very old appliances and tv. No in room internet connection. I would not stay here again, pay the extra $$ and stay somewhere nicer and modern. Room was old and musty smelling. Walls were concrete, there was no shower curtain in the bathrooms. Furniture smelled of mold. We had a Coral Cay suite. Actually it was 1 big room with a wall divider. Internet access was in another building.A room with no AC,open for limited hours. Service was ok, staff was helpful at check in. Our room was not ready we arrived early so we stored our luggage in a closet. location is near Cairns Esplanade, but still it is NOT walking distance, its sorta in residential area. Hotel cleanliness could have been better, the room was very dusty and had a weird smell. the kitchen area and micowave could have used a good wipe down. We rented a car, we didnt need any transpo. The hotel is still far from attractions and the main drag. A car would be helpful,we didnt want to rely or waste any time waiting for the bus. I dont think they offered any kind of childcare. The pool was nice, my kids enjoyed it,ages 12 and 9. they didnt have a diving board or anything fancy,just a small pool.

modest accomodation that suited our needs. Needed to take taxi to center of town, could have walked it, but the weather was bad.

Very nice hotel with nice staff. Very quiet and near a supermarket.
