We holidayed over xmas period with our 2 y.o., had a great family break. Not good for a romantic get away as there are kids everywhere. BBQ facilities were great, clean and available. There are at least 3 very large, kid safe pools. We played tennis, which is free (racquets and balls provided) and 'bocce'?. There are 2 restaurants - Lagos which has great food (upmarket) and the other is more laid back (food a little average) but a nice glass of wine at happy hr (5-6pm) is $2. Main downfall is that there are no lifts and we had top floor (3rd level) - very tiresome dragging xmas presents, suitcases, food etc up and then back down again with a 2 y.o.. We weren't offered services of a concierge. Would definately go back but request a ground floor if available. 1 bedroom, has large king bed and was large enough for us. The 1 bedroom suite was huge. Facilities were top notch, lots of pools a small gym. Small grocery store in the reception. Location is a 10 minute bus ride from town but the town isn't really much to see anyway. Linda Embrey, United States
We had a one-bedroom apartment. It was a good size and comfortable. The property grounds and pools were lovely and the staff was very professional. Good bus service into town. Easy to book tours from the hotel, with pick up right out front. Both restaurants were very good---the fine dining restaurant, Lago, was excellent. Overall a very good value for the money. Excellent facilities. A little far from downtown Cairns. Dianne Gillespie, New Zealand
Had problem at reception when for the extra night we had to change rooms which was not a problem but the girl was insisting we bring all our luggage down to reception when we were only moving to the room next door. Facilities were excellent though and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A HotelTravel.com Member, Japan
