Fairly cheap but not very clean, pool sides grimy, "complimentary breakfast" was toast and spreads. Fruit or boiled eggs were extra. Air conditioned TV room closed at 8pm. The other one wasn't a/c. Staff friendly and helpful, airport to hotel shuttle free but not return to airport.
Air conditioner struggled when the room had us in it but cooled the room while we were out - one aircon shared between two rooms via a duct. Furniture was a double bed and a coffee table - no chairs.
Kitchen and bathroom shared with another room.
30 min walk (in 40+ degrees) from CBD. Rentacar over the road, free airport shuttle to Toddy's but not to airport ($7pp)
Bathroom shower still had hair from previous occupiers, pool sides covered in grime which actually rubbed off on your skin, cock roaches in food cupboards of breakfast room. Didn't use bar or restaurant. TV room after 8pm unbearably hot (no aircon). Ok for the price perhaps. 2 pools available, the one we use was very grimy and one safety gate did not lock (children could enter unsupervised.
