Adelaide Introduction
The elegant city of Adelaide is the capital of South Australia and is located between the Adelaide Hills and the Gulf of St Vincent. The city has emerged as a top tourist destination for visitors from around the globe and has been so for many years. Adelaide has a truly fantastic tourist infrastructure, which provides a wide range of accommodation including first class luxury hotels to less expensive accommodation for the budget conscious travellers. Adelaide is probably best known for its beautiful landscapes that are overflowing with lush gardens, fantastic parks and flowery shrubs. The city also has vast wineries stretching across the countryside and tranquil meandering rivers. One of the major draws in the city is the absolutely stunning beaches that offer a wide selection of water sports including diving and snorkelling, windsurfing and kayaking. One of the ‘must-see’ attractions is Kangaroo Island, this place is filled with native tree, secluded beaches and yes—kangaroos. There is quite a selection of hotels, resorts and other facilities are on offer in Adelaide and Kangaroo Island.

Named after the wife of King William IV, Adelaide is a gracious city boasting beautifully planned gardens, historic buildings, colonial pubs and churches and a number of modern high-rises mixed with fine examples of Edwardian and Victorian architecture. The centre of the city is surrounded by lovely parkland that separates the business district from the suburban area, and it is protected on one side by the Adelaide Hills and on the other by Gulf St Vincent.
